Keith Franklin is his name. He was at Saturdays and Sundays games. Saturday he was at the top of the right field bleachers. Wearing a kilt. Not sure what he had on underneath. I had a sign made, as I knew he would be here. It read "Goss Stadium Welcomes Titans Fans". He said there were two or three other Fullerton fans out there with him. And they saw my sign.
Sunday, just before the game began. He came up to me as I was about to get seated. We took a selfi, I showed him the signs I had brought, and he promptly got to this seat. He yelled the entire game. Virtually non-stop. I think I saw two other Fullerton fans with him. In the first inning I out yelled him as we batted around and ran off their starter. Good stuff.
After the game we met and talked for quite a while. He loves Corvallis, our stadium, and our fans. He is extremely passionate about his team, but I admire his passion. He wished us well, said he expects the Beavs to be in Omaha in June. I told him I hoped his team turned things around, and as long as they stayed out of Goss in the postseason, I wanted them to win too.
He carried my signs for me, as I climbed the parking garage stairs to the second level. A classy guy.

I believe he was the same superfan that came to Goss when UC Irvine knocked us out in our own regional while we were the #1 overall seed. Not sure why he switched teams but if I remember correctly, Irvine banned him from their stadium for some sort of antics while he was at a game. Can't remember exactly what he did but it's good to hear a positive story about him and that he has good memories of being here.

The gal next to me conjectured whether the fellow was contravening the security rules by stuffing his kilt with contraband.
I told her to keep her concerns to herself. The last thing we need is for stadium security to mandate transparent plastic kilts.

Absolutely amazing to me that after requiring people to put items in a clear bag, then they ask everyone to empty the bag to inspect what is in it. Some people actually think that this circus at the gate is making everyone safe.
News flash, you are not safe. If a crazy wants to hurt you/us, we will get hurt.

There's nothing wrong with the clear bag policy. But in typical OSU athletic department fashion, the execution of this policy has been botched like the lack of amplified sound for the national anthem singer and the upside down championship banner this past weekend.
I too was asked to empty my not full official plastic bag despite all items being clearly visible. Many others reported the same. From my experience, this is not how the clear bag policy is enforced at other major athletic venues.

I talked to the security supervisor at the game on Sunday. I said it feels like we are being treated like criminals when we enter Goss. guilty of something, they just have to figure out what it is. a little politeness and courtesy would go along way to ease the process. not to disparage all of the security, some are pleasant and respectful, others think that $7.50 an hour and a little authority makes them Jesus Christ. not surprising he stuck to the company line. he tried to sell me the notion that during a fan survey that was taken by the athletic department the #1 response by fans was wanting to feel safer while at Goss. . I think that's called drive polling, where the question is asked in such a way as to get the answer they are looking for. he did admit that the new bag policy really does nothing to actual make Goss safer, he also seemed surprised that people are finding other ways to sneak stuff inside the stadium. typical bureaucracy, find a problem that doesn't exist and then make a cluster f**k out of it and tell you how much better it is for you. to quote Fletcher from the outlaw Josie Wales "don't piss down my back and tell me its raining"

I’d be pissed too if I was making almost $3 an hour below the minimum wage.
