Do we have a starter named yet?
More I think about it, would love to see what Chamberlain could do as a starter, but think it will be Tweedt for a few innings and then turn it over to the pen and let plenty of guys get some work in..

It is time Tweedt was on the pine for good. Just doesn't have it.

A current score for those of us at work and not able to stream? Much obliged Now 6-3 Beavs in the top of the 9th. Portland scored 3 runs in the 5th to tie it up but Adley had a big 2 out double in the 7th that scored 2 runs. Mulholland now pitching the 9th.

Three up and three down for Mulholland. 6-3 is your final.

Lawsy that was a cold f&*^#er. And we were dressed for it we thought. The game started out under sunny skies. By the 8th inning my phone said 38 degrees. There were a lot of people not dressed for the cold and many left during the game.
I think I heard the attendance was over 3000 but really only half of that showed up at the beginning. I wish all of those season ticket holders would make a minimal attempt to find a way to fill their seats. Kids? Veterans? There must be someone that would be thankful to be able to see a baseball game in a great little stadium.
I would guess that a certain pitcher is working his way to the end of the bench. Feel bad for the kid with all he has gone through but he is not getting it done. Eisert and Mulholland did a good job to set things right.
Larnach's 3 run tater was a bomb. It got out to the top row of the new right center bleachers in a big hurry. That was very close to the longest part of center field. Adley's double was equally well struck. with a little more air it would have been over the right field bleachers. I am guessing that in better weather those two will leave a ball or two close to Washington Way.
For any of you that watched the stream, did you notice the home plate ump in short sleeves? That just goes to show you how inane the P12 officials can be.
Great win against a decent team.

You do realize how hot it gets behind the plate don't you. Wearing the gear and working like a catcher keeps you warm.

My wife noticed the young fella that was drinking beer in the stands and kept lifting up his T-shirt to expose is abdomen. Does that count?
