Well, we won't know how successful until he gets back on the court. ACL tears are persnickety especially in athletes where sudden lateral movements are critical to a player's success. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

So, looking at next season if Kone isn't ready to go. Shaft and Reid are gone. Who plays the 4 spot???
* Go small with Tres? * Play Big G at the 5, and Eubanks at the 4? * Looks to me as if the 4 spot is where the recruiting focus needs to be.

I'm thinking if Eubanks can develop a 12-18 foot game facing the basket he could be pretty impressive. Might be a bit much to ask of him, but he did nail a shot from that range last game if I recall correctly.

Dew is a 6'8" 210 JS SF- - I would think he'd be able to augment a small lineup that is big enough to defend most teams, particularly with Tres also on the floor.

I agree with the JUCO PF! Just wonder if it's too late in the game to get anyone that can help us next year. Here's hoping! I have also thought about Eubanks playing the 4, but if memory serves he has played zero 4 this year, I wonder if that is in the cards or not. And Dew is 6' 8", but I thought I read that he is more of a outside 3 type guy. With the problems we've had rebounding this year, it appears that we will have even less beef next year. And we lose our leading rebounding point guard. Yikes.
