What was so bad about yesterday? A win is a win.

Baseball has more variance in scoring than just about any other sport because a team can be hot one day and ice cold the next and it only takes one decent pitching performance or in the case of Hartford yesterday some really cool air and the winds blowing in that is killing anything hit hard to the Outfield and some decent Fielding by especially their pitcher. I didn't expect the beavs to continue to hit 400 every game and today's a new day.

Marvelous outing by Fehmel today. Complete game, 1 hit, no walks, and no runs. 111 pitches through nine. Nice.

He was hit hard especially early but right at people or too much air. Hartford’s hitters are better than they appear. You have to love fehmel though, in the cold, four game series to go complete and get better late; competitor.

Abel looking good after a rough start. Reminds me of Drew Rasmussen.

hartford? well, it's why they play the game. So it's funny to hear Big Jim Wilson and John Warren say what they really think between innings on the stream. Obviously they don't know there is no commercial and they have hot mikes:-) Big Jim Wilson: Well 3 full innings left. John Warren. Yeah I sure hope they come back. Hey i think i need to go downstairs. Big Jim Wilson: well I'll tell you something, they won't score anything off of Eisert. John Warren. For sure. I think i need to use the little boy's room. I don't know why they just don't just stay in character.

For the record Jim Wilson's full name is Big Jim Wilson please use his full legal name in the future

Dayam that was a cold day - must have froze half those announced attendees in their cars or something. I am dealing with some injuries from my car accident, and could only make it about an inning and a half into the 2nd game before everything that was hurt started aching, even tho I had all the gear needed on me. Even had a bit of sloppy snow in the rain during the first game, and the temp dropped about 10 degrees really fast. Only thing that was good about this day were two more Beaver victories, and 6 more autographs on another baseball for my grandson.

It was a cold one....the inability to bring in the cold weather gear to combat the elements....sucks. We left in the sixth inning of the first game, have not done that in five years. I can only hope that Scott Barnes sat through that double header with his lil gallon baggy of gear.

We bring in our big waterproof blanket hanging over an arm and whatever other cold weather gear that we weren't wearing was also carried over our arm. No problem getting it in.
