Someone around here keeps claiming that Goss was built with the ability to add a 2nd deck.
Not sure how much I believe that, but ... maybe that would be AFTER they put a REAL stadium section in the OF instead of just erector set aluminum stands.

That is me - I was told by an engineer that the underlying infrastructure can handle a second deck - I was also told that due to some zoning or building regulations, the entire stadium is considered a "temporary" structure, sort of like the Naval ROTC WWII hut out past the right field foul pole that has been there for decades.

I'm only going on what I remember, but I think the "temporay" thing was resolved about 20 years ago when it became Goss Stadium. The OSU master plan, until that time, had plans for classrooms or dorms or something in that location.
