Looks like weather will be best on Saturday and Sunday.
Question: I've never attended on a double-header day. Admission to both on same ticket? Is it more costly than a normal game?

Latest weather forecast, changing by the hour, says dry and a bit windy.
Don't forget the clear bags are being handed out this weekend and next, to season ticket holders, at the main entrance. One per ticket, I assume.
Hartford will want the mercy rule, if our hot bats continue to show up.
I have seven signs for tonight. All of them oldies, but goodies. Hopefully they all satisfy the PC police.

Does a Subway sandwich bag count as a clear bag?  ? Can't go tonight due to the 4 pm start time - but want to attend the double header - are there still any SRO spaces in the outfield? Have to get there early |

Does a Subway sandwich bag count as a clear bag? ? Can't go tonight due to the 4 pm start time - but want to attend the double header - are there still any SRO spaces in the outfield? Have to get there early Was just over at the field. There is a 250 seat bleacher where the SRO used to be. Those seats are $13. There are also a few Saturday seats available in sec 1 for $23. Clear bag can't be bigger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches. |

Talk me off the ledge. Heimlich and yes, Gambrell (I know some disagree with him after control problems last year. I am predicting a stellar season for Gambrell) both have the "stuff" to be big time for the Beavs this year. They are both the type of talent to be effective all the way to and into the College World Series. Here's where I get nervous. After watching Tweedt and Fehmel for three years now, both, imho, have hit their ceilings as pitchers. While neither are "bad" pitchers, neither appear to have the ceiling to be consistently effective against higher level teams. If we are truly going to contend for a national championship, the third starter is going to have to come from someone else. I am thinking Abel or Mulholland although I am not sure Casey will let him out of the bullpen unless Chamberlain becomes the closer. Again, talk me off the ledge. Am I wrong in my assessment?

Just gotta be careful - most of the available interior tickets are returns from the opposition, hard to comment on the other team when you are sitting in with moms of their players  |
