John Warren asked coach Casey during Casey's Corner if he was happy with second base he did not give a good response. He seemed to indicate that Armstrong is good defensively but he needs to hit the ball better. hitting into two double plays will not get you playing time on this team.

Case was unhappy with his defense in the top of the second. Didn’t get an error, but should have made the play

There is a 12 Mountain/11 Pacific cutoff time, big boys scheduled for the ballpark this afternoon. Can we get 7 innings done in 2 hours and 20 minutes?

It's kind of fun being the big boy in this game. Obviously no where near the football comparison but I did read posters on the buckeye board saying that they should consider getting out of these games.

Gambrel is pitching the best I have ever seen. His off speed stuf is the out pitch and absolutely fooling the batters. 90FB mid-70 off speed. With good control and just seems in command of every batter

Obviously no where near the football comparison but I did read posters on the buckeye board saying that they should consider getting out of these games. We have been home team/host for all 8 games. Locals are cheering us, 2K fans vs 50 or so buckeyes. Really fun to be the big draw.

Freaking amazing. Gambrell not even bothered by a couplE fielding lapses. Works so fast, doesn't have time to mull over them

This is an absolutely relentless offensive team. There are no breathers for the opposing pitcher. They all grind out at bats, they are patient and hit the ball hard.
Grenier always seems to be on base. The bottom of the lineup is effective at getting runners on base. When we turn the batting order over there always seems to be aRISP. Much better than last year

Came away from the first weekend wondering who the starters would be after Luke. Came away from this weekend thinking Nate has his rotation. Opponents weren't great, but they had some quality bats.
Luke-Fehmel-Gambrell with Abel and Britton very capable. Quality deep in the pen
