This is truly unfathomable....I mean, really? Again we're going to blow a late lead? Nah, this one will not be a choke job. A couple fts were... and a ft rebound was... Ethan was not.

I love OSU but this team is going to give me a heart attack having to watch them try to hold on to leads.

Hurley chased refs off the court rather than get in handshake line. What a DB. That would have been another gut wrenching loss if it had gone the other way. Whew.

Man is this team in need of a true point guard. When it comes to crunch time other teams exploit the lack of one.

Is one of our assistant coaches a former point guard? True point guard?

Haha...he did finally get in the handshake line, but I think he would have followed that ref into the locker room if the trooper hadn’t stepped in and stopped him.

We play tight. We need a moderate goofball on the team to make guys laugh. It would be worth five wins this year.

Actually was an ASU athletic dept official who stopped him and guided him back to the court. They have two real "winners" as hoop coaches...

I do enjoy watching this Beaver team play. Missed the beginning of the game but started watching late in the first half when the Beavers finally caught up and then went by ASU. Had to watch the last 15 minutes of the game after-the-fact on the DVR. Just got done with it. It was interesting to see that the bulk of the ASU "comeback" was free throws, and that some of the Beaver "turnovers" in that stretch were questionable calls. Whatever, the Beavers did what they needed to do in the end and got a another nice conference win at home. There was at least one dirty play by one of the more annoying ASU players. He clearly waited for Berger to jump for a rebound and then purposely undercut him. He then looked on like some sort of innocent bystander as Berger crashed to the floor hard on his hip and back. A foul was called but it seems to me that more was deserved. Watching Coach Tinkle pantomime the undercut for the refs, I think he felt the same way. It's always nice to see the Beavers team and Beaver players getting some respect. The refs (mostly) did not fall for the plethora of ASU flops in this game. In a notable stretch in the first half, two ASU flops were nicely ignored by the refs, both leading to scores by the Beavers. The color commentator, Adrian Branch, said he feels Tinkle will make the 10-man all-conference first team. He also said that he feels Eubanks will play at the next level. But, then again, Branch is just a former NBA player and he probably rarely posts on message boards, so he may not be aware of how "awful" Tinkle and Eubanks actually are. I really have enjoyed watching this team play, especially the growth of Eubanks over the years. But, ultimately, they need more success in getting to the post season. It's just interesting to note that a pretty-sure-lock for the tourney, ASU, is 7-9 in conference and a no-chance for the tourney, OSU, is 6-10 in conference. Go Beavs! Mike '84

Mike '84 Adrian Branch also compared Stevie Thompson to NBA legend Sam Cassell and always called Kendall Manuel Kendall Manual. But at least he tries to talk about the game. Unlike bloody Bill Walton.
