Heard on the broadcast today that Bill Rowe is back at OS on the coaching staff and it prompted me to look at the staff this year.
Remember all of the posters during the football coaching change that didn't want too many Beav alums on the staff? Wanted to spread out the football knowledge over a large coaching tree as it were.
At OS baseball, all of the young coaches, six of them, are Beavs. In fact the only person on the staff that isn't connected to Casey or a Beav is Yeskie. Bailey is from George Fox and Northcutt coached under Casey at GF and is also from Newberg.
I guess success can come in all shapes and sizes.

Well, Casey and Riley are worlds apart in success at the collegiate level. If Casey gets two more titles, (which is unlikely, but possible) he will go down as one of the greatest college baseball coaches of all time, considering that he did it in the northwest. Right now he is still pretty high up on that list. Bibb Falk, Dick Seibert, Rod Dedeaux, Bobby Winkles, Jerry Kindle, Augie Garrido, Skip Bertman, Pat Casey and Ray Tanner are the only coaches that have won multiple titles. Only two coaches on that list did it in cold weather states. Seibert and Casey.
If Casey wants a bunch of his guys making up his staff, I trust him.
Edit to add Mark Marquess

Total apples and oranges in comparing baseball and football. Football has grad assistants. Baseball has undergraduate assistants. Get one of the guys back who went pro, and get him to graduate. Helps immensely with the graduation rate success and other academic measures. Plus the guy knows Casey baseball. Lol.

If the football team were as powerful nationally as the baseball team, posters would want more alumni on the coaching staff. Winning breeds winners so to speak.
