Are you using an ad blocker? Sometimes that will keep the broadcast from coming through

Thank-you The "kitchen sink" might have faired better on the hill later... First college outing can be rough, but thought Fehmel look rough overall for a vet... 7 runs vs Poly just not good.

PC thru the kitchen sink at 'em today...and IT even got a hit! Keep it up, Beavs...but...PEAK in middle to late June, please!! Thank-you The "kitchen sink" might have faired better on the hill later... First college outing can be rough, but thought Fehmel look rough overall for a vet... 7 runs vs Poly just not good. I posted the following paragraph elsewhere, but I thought that I'd re-post here and then tack on two more paragraphs. Last year, Bryce seemed like he was a much better bad weather/sunset/night pitcher. (Last year, his effectiveness disappeared as April gave way to May. His only two decent outings after that were night games against Vanderbilt and LSU.) The conditions in Surprise were near perfect. I really think that hurt his effectiveness. The fact that he only gave up four earned (Abel gave up the RBI single with an inherited runner on second) in 6 2/3 really bodes well for him. He looked better than he did at the end of the regular season last year. Burns looked very much like a true freshman in the ninth. Walk, error, walk, wild pitch, fly out, and walk to load the bases with one out. Then single, sac fly, and single to score the three on the base-paths before Casey finally decided that he saw enough, bringing on Pearce to finish the game. 7 runs sure, but 3 of those runs came in 2/3 of an inning with a true freshman pitching. Fehmel scattered seven hits in 6 2/3 with no walks and one HBP. That's a WHIP of 1.20 in conditions that do not really accentuate his skills. Fehmel had some pretty pitches. He missed twice for two home runs. If Fehmel's pitching worse in March, that would be something to be concerned about.
