A great stat for the Beavs and their coaching staff....Whatta game.
The Lady Beavs were impressive in handling intense Bruin pressure - especially in the 2nd half... The back door picks off the offensive set were basketball beauty.
67 points with only 4 made 3s 5 players with 40 minutes of floor time.... Tudor played (in my opinion) her best game ever as a Beaver - with only 1 3pointer she played a complete game. Attacked the paint; rebounded tough. Gulich was a warrior, a beast.
GEEZ - what a game. GO BEAVS

There is no such thing as the Lady Beavers. All OSU athletic teams are Beavers. Period. This isn't the deep South.

Sat in the upper section for the game on the team side, I swear I turned around and saw the scowling Ralph portrait crack a smile on those back door plays.

TheGlove - I was not aware that "Lady Beavs" is a term not used to describe WBB at OSU. Not sure who decided on this, but I'll take your word for it.
I do not have a vested interest in the term. It is common parlance among Rebounder Row, OSU's WBB top booster club. It also is a commonly used term on the recruiting trail... Thanks. GO BEAVS

It’s old fashioned and not really acceptable (unless you’re in the South aka redneckistan). We dont call the Men’s team the Gentleman Beavs, do we?

The “Lady” MascotName thing is passé. Because you say so? Please. Ask any woman under the age of 55 their opinion.

Ask any woman under the age of 55 their opinion. I did. They had no problem whatsoever with Lady/Ladies. Wrong.

Like there isn't any rednecks in Oregon?
Let me get this straight, there are women who take exception to being called a "lady"? WTF

Okay. I'll let THEM know that YOU know better than what THEY think. LOL You can call the WBB team anything you want. You can call them the "sweet little orange dumplings" if you want. It's a free country. But they ARE the Oregon State Beavers. "Lady Beavers" is superfluous at best.
