Rueck's philosophy: If it doesn't work, keep doing it. If getting the ball inside to Gulich is getting her double-teamed every time so that she loses the ball, keep doing it. If passing the ball around the perimeter all the time doesn't work because the other guys are playing good defense, then keep doing it. No, no, we're not going to attempt any motion plays that give us midrange shots or drives to the bucket. That's not our style. We're 3-pt shooters! And defense? I think our plan is to give the other guys wide open shots and just pray they miss. 7 points in a quarter? 6 points in the next? Has he got these ladies so cowed that they are afraid to make a mistake and thus rendered impotent? I know what you mean. I'm so done with the Scott Rueck experiment; he's hopeless. Just another dumb Bobby DeCarolis hire. If we’re lucky some other team will hire him away and we can get a competent coach to get this program on the right track. Maybe we can hire Mark Campbell.
