Way to knock down those OT free throws Katie Mac!
What a crazy game, huh?

Who was it that did the inbound pass after WSU tied it? What a great heads up play to give KT the chance to win. Aleah

Man, not pretty but good teams tend to find a way to win. Just glad we got our breaks when we did!
Go Beavs!

Bullet dodged. Talk about trying to give one away. Reminded me of the 1st CW game... some crazy bad hoops that still ends a W.

He said to give it to the best arm on the team, the javelin thrower. And congratulations to the lady Beavs for a gut check win.

Goes to show you have to come to play every night. Got extremely lucky not to drop this game. Everyone wants to defeat the defending conference champion.

Rueck's philosophy: If it doesn't work, keep doing it. If getting the ball inside to Gulich is getting her double-teamed every time so that she loses the ball, keep doing it. If passing the ball around the perimeter all the time doesn't work because the other guys are playing good defense, then keep doing it. No, no, we're not going to attempt any motion plays that give us midrange shots or drives to the bucket. That's not our style. We're 3-pt shooters! And defense? I think our plan is to give the other guys wide open shots and just pray they miss. 7 points in a quarter? 6 points in the next? Has he got these ladies so cowed that they are afraid to make a mistake and thus rendered impotent?
