Pivec has been close to the triple double a few times this year already. 10-9-8 P-R-A vs Arizona 15-15-7 vs. North Dakota. Sunday will be her first time playing as a Beaver in front of her home crowd at Washington (last year OSU only played UW in Corvallis). Calling it here first - Pivec first triple double against UW.
And why not parlay that with this being the weekend that Gulich finally gets Pac-12 POW with double doubles on Friday and Sunday with 10 blocks for the weekend.

I'll settle for two Ws since we had early issues in Gill... the games felt a lot closer than the combined 30 point Ws... at least to me!

Totally agree. I’ll take wins vs accolades most anytime. It would be nice to be recognized but not that important to me. I think wazzu will be tough on the road but winnable.

Taya is going to be home as well, good time for her to have a break out weekend.
I'd be happy if Mik had a really good game, it is about time for her to get it going again.
Both games are winnable if we play as well as we are capable of.

In 3 games last year in Seattle (PAC 12 Tourney) Pivec really shined (games 1 and 2 anyhow). In those first 2 games she averaged 16 pts and 8 rebounds. Final against Stanford...well that was another story, for the entire team. Last night's first half against WSU with Q1 and Q2 scoring of 7 pts and 6 pts respectively was a flashback to the Stanford final last year in Seattle in which the Q2, Q3 and Q4 scoring total for the Beavs was (ugh) 7 / 7 / 7.

So much for my ability to predict the future. While 15-5-7 is a nice stat line for Pivec in 22 minutes of play, it is not, obviously, a triple double. Nice balanced stats with 6 players with 5 or more rebounds and 3 players with 5 or more assists. I had been thinking that KTMac had an off night until I saw 11-6-5 in 25 minutes...and Kalmer with 10-7-6 in 23 minute off the bench is great.
But nice for Pivec and Corosdale to have good games in front of their 'home' crowd. I had forgotten that Pac12 tourney last year would have basically been a homecoming for Pivec already (thanks for the reminder ricke71), but I think she was a Husky fan growing up, so I'm sure it felt good to dominate at Hec-Ed (Alaska Airlines Arena)
