The hit on Brandon Cooks was targeting and the player who hit Cooks shoulda been ejected from the game!!
A hit like this in college would had the player ejected!
The NFL does a piss poor job on the targeting rules!

Love Cooks, but it wasn’t targeting, wasn’t a violation of the rules, and the player shouldn’t have been ejected. If you want to argue changing the rules, I’m all ears.

Love Cooks, but it wasn’t targeting, wasn’t a violation of the rules, and the player shouldn’t have been ejected. If you want to argue changing the rules, I’m all ears. So your saying the eagle player didn't intentionally lead with his helmet connecting a helmet to helmet collision with Cooks?.... I'm pretty sure that should be a big penalty right there and a player getting elected or suspended for half of the game. |

And no, in the NFL that isn’t a penalty. No penalty, ejection. What I’m saying is argue changing the rule. |
