And it’s not just recruiting.
Identify your opponents weakness. Attack them. Take away what they want to do. Make them beat you with what they don’t want to do.
Easier said than done.

Yeah, that's what OSU usually does. Did SR forget to renew his copyright on that? Remember, every three years you need to send in the renewal form.

We were out hustled and out muscled, and the way they were double and triple teaming Marie in the paint made it hard for her to pass out of it to an open outside shooter. Our spacing has not been as good of late, and I don't know if that is Pac-12 teams disrupting what we want to do in that regard or something we are doing or not doing.....
Go Beavers!

Been saying it down on the court for 3 years now, "Keep the ball up Marie!". Pulls the ball down and its all over especially triple teamed.

Stick Williams(?) on Kat - check Double Marie every time - check Go towards the ball on rebounds because this is not going to be a game of fast breaks - check
We were beaten by a team that did not pressure the ball, and that is surprising. Stanford is bigger than they look. The freshman on Kat all night already is a good player and will be a great one.
Okay, Beavs. Take out Cal. We will not be in the top-16 due to our RPI and won't be hosting the first two rounds in the Big Dance so we better get that out of our minds. There is a big difference between a high and a low 2 seed. We want to be the former.

Stanford was only 2-19 on 3 point shots and shot poorly overall on both FG and FT - that didn’t matter so much given their ability to scoop up offensive rebounds.
A very disturbing trend the Beavs are showing is the number of shot clock violations or no-chance desperation shots taken during last second or two. The only current individual solution to that might be Kalmer, next season D. Slocum should provide a better solution.
