"There are two types of newspapers left in America, those that are dead and those waiting to be". Why are we reading the Oregonian? How can you enjoy reading one and two day old news, stale interviews, watered down local coverage ("Gresham Woman mistreats her cat"), and lame editorializing?
The Oregonian dismissed all of their high priced talent so they could hire 24 year old "journalists" like Danny Moran. Payroll wins and readership loses. How can you tolerate lack of proofreading, spelling errors and columnists that can't conjugate a verb or construct a sentence properly?
And then there is Canzing-o, who belongs at the National Enquirer rather than a large daily. Oregonian drivel isn't really worthy of discussion on this board. Read Kerry Eggers - Oregon's best informed, most competent writer.

Read Kerry Eggers - Oregon's best informed, most competent writer. There is one thing that a traditional newspaper has, and always will be, better than the internet for: MLB box scores. I realize they are a day old, but perusing all of the MLB box scores on one sheet of paper is SO much more useful than clicking through a bunch of different pages on a website. I suppose if someone actually made a web page that showed all of the box scores on one page like they do in the newspaper, it would be cool, but I haven't seen that yet. Perhaps that's my million dollar idea. SaveSave
