Both wrestlers at this weight are suppose return next year. This means the year that Coleman decides to redshirt is somewhat flexible. Only answer I have.

Yeah that doesn't really add up. Not sure what's to be gained by doing that at this point in the season. Plus Coleman just dropped to 74 a couple weeks ago at the Boxer. Don't believe he wrestled up at Clackamas last weekend.. Should be a close dual. Need to keep from giving up bonus points in 65/74/84 stretch..

Great job yesterday! Huge win by Devan Turner at 133, great to see him come out and wrestle aggressively. Reyes and Terry both won the "toss up" matches and the guys who were supposed to take care of business did exactly that. One of our more complete performances.
Also this weekend Aaron Olmos took 1st at 165 at the Cali Collegiate Open in SF. Nice weekend for him, that's a solid tournament. Noonan and McKee both took 3rd.

Yes it was a good day yesterday for the program. Also Saturday for the guys that wrestled in SF. Olmos has won his last 2 tournaments; CCC Open and Cal Collegiate.
Coach said yesterday was the best and most complete effort they have had all season, top to bottom all weights. Also has been stressing improvement and effort in the practice room. Turner was my favorite match for sure. I liked Hathaway's as well. Every guy had a bonus pt victory up to Hunter W.
Two more duals this weekend, Saturday evening v Poly, then Coach Steiner's bulldogs (Fresno St.) on Monday. Go Beavs!

Steiner (and Josh Whisenhunt and Lara) were all so great to my kid when he was a little orange crush wrestler. Really happy for Coach Steiner! Excited to see what he can build in Fresno.
