They say no easy games in the PAC and it's looking just like that.
The Lady Beavs have made it clear that they are once again one of the PAC 12's very best - but they still have a lot to prove on the court....
The Beavs have defeated two of the contenders (Oregon & ASU) both at Gill - but the road is a completely different story. I think the general point of view is that if the Beavs don't win twice this weekend they are pretty much out of the running for a top three conference finish. At least, that is my point of view.
Utah and Colorado are both good teams, but not UCLA or Stanford good - losing to them, even when the losses are on the road, would make a very deep dent in the Champ's armor....
I'm really hoping that they can handle this trip. It will be a real indicator of their toughness, their maturity, and, in ordinary language, how GOOD of a basketball team they really are.... Obviously, it's not yet do or die....But it's in that ball park......
GO BEAVS......

The Gülich/Potter matchup tonight will be worth watching. Two skilled Senior international post players going head to head.
Looking forward to it.

I'm so sad to see Marie go. I can't help but wonder if she has been under used in her time. I think she has an amazing skill set and could have dominated games and put up some monster numbers. Feel free to set me straight on this pondering.

I'm so sad to see Marie go. I can't help but wonder if she has been under used in her time. I think she has an amazing skill set and could have dominated games and put up some monster numbers. Feel free to set me straight on this pondering. Marie’s development as a complete player has been astonishing. In tonight’s W at Utah she made a series of athletic plays at one point that she just couldn’t have made a year ago. Emily Potter is a Senior too. Taller and bigger than Marie. But Marie was unquestionably the better player tonight head to head. I’m so impressed with her composure as teams try to play rough with her and get in her head. This year I don’t see it affecting her game.
