15 in a row sounds absolutely fantastic. -------------
The Girls face a tough opponent on the Road tonight. Can the Beavs put together back to back wins against a Top Ten team? It would be one helluva achievement and would certainly reel in the National Media....Remind America of what a great program Rueck runs. It might even help with the recruiting of some of our top 2019 prospects.
The Beavs put together their best offensive game of the season Friday - could we get a repeat performance tonight? But really, how often does ANYBODY start a game 8/8 from 3?
I hope the Beavs can do it, really hope. But I'm afraid hoping is not enough for this one.
It seems to me that the Ducks have too much fire power to lose back to back...Especially at home. Sadly, it looks like Graves gets his first win against the Beavs.... Ducks by 8.....🏀😪

We can pin a loss on each of the other teams and the worst-case would be that we end up in a tie with UCLA. Having beaten uo twice, we would have a tie-breaker with them. Lose today and we will be reliant upon someone else to beat the uckies.

Stop the Pick and Roll and I like our chances. Worried about home cooking, since there was enough of that for the ucks even in Gill the other night. Make this one a Defensive Battle and I like our chances even more! Go Beavs!

This is a good start to ID-ing key to Victory
"For OSU to win in Pewgene. they are going to HAVE TO "shutdown" the two man game and QUIT double-teaming and collapsing onto *I*onescu. That is their bread and butter go-to, because it simply leaves Hebard wide open ENOUGH to receive a quick pass for absolute gimmes. ESPECIALLY "down there." They WANT YOU to double team her and/or move into a position (any position) that opens enough space for a quick pass, away They will continue to do that all day long if you keep on repeating the same mistakes as on Friday."
****************
Another factor that could boost the chance for a "W" would be some quality minutes from at least 2 members of the Beaver bench. As was pointed out Friday night, neither team had a single point from a non-starting player. I'd like to see what Aleah Goodman could add to the ball-movement aspect of the game (and shooting as well, if by chance Kat is not in the same zone as Friday night). Also would like to see what Maddie Washington could bring to the inside defense.

While a couple of our players had a monster game for the win Friday night, so did a couple of theirs.... I am sure SR is going to throw a different look at them and attempt to remedy some of what hurt the Beavers Friday night. I think this one actually comes down to who can disrupt what they saw Friday better along with whose bench shows up. We at least got the split, and defended our home floor (in spite of those aforementioned monster games - along with several missed calls on the 'ucks roughing up Kat at the very least, and some ticky tack calls in favor of Sabrina). After re-watching Friday's game, I have concluded that Sabrina may not yet be getting the NBA MJ level deference, but she is getting the Pac-10 era Don Mclean level deference. :-). We have a good chance, as we match up well. Will get interesting.
Go Beavers!

I think switching from man to man to a zone or a box and one might confuse them for a while and the best thing is if the refs start calling some of the illegal screens. Ionescu should get the academy award for her i got fouled shooting performance.

I think Kalmer is more likely to be of help with her quickness and ball handling. She has demonstrated the ability to drive and dish. I keep waiting for her to have a big game... hopefully this is it. The only negative is having a shorter guard on the floor could hurt our defense.
