BobMJohnson would articulate this better than me, but really? Really? This morning’s fishwrap has a front of the section article about hole choking against SC, but a page six paragraph about the Beavs taking down fUCLA.
Very nice win last night, boys.
GO BEAVERS!!!

Here we go...you know there isn't a conspiracy against the Beavers. The logical answer is that the game went late and that was a quick summary to get it for this morning. I'm guessing there will be more tomorrow.

We aren't doing ourselves any favors here when 5K show up while (allegedly) 9K show up for the game down south. Newspapers are in the business of writing about what people are interested in.

I think Joecool has it right. I'm happy to trash the Oregonian, but this has happened in reverse. When the Beavers play the 6:00 game, it has received the full article and the Yucks get only an inside paragraph. There'll be a full article on the UCLA game in Saturday's paper (such as it is with its napkin size).

Then tomorrow, a big story reminding everyone that the Beavers won.
