That’s awful. That kid played some significant downs for them - maybe even the guy replacing Falk? Too many young people taking their lives these days. So tragic. |

The effects on those still living can be everlasting. Such a sad thing. In today's day and age, with everything that is going on in the world and all the pressure and stresses we have, it pays to just pay attention to the people around you (and yourself). It is never a bad thing to ask for help. |

In today's day and age, with everything that is going on in the world and all the pressure and stresses we have, it pays to just pay attention to the people around you (and yourself). It is never a bad thing to ask for help. Sorry to hear about that. Asking for help seems so easy.. only it's so incredibly difficult. Have someone in the family who has battled depression and drug addiction for years now and finally.. finally...FINAL-F*CKINGLY - said those 3 words that make all the difference: I need help. ~60 days sober now. Good days and really s%#tty days and a very long road ahead. But about a week ago sent me a text and said "I'm starting to see and feel again". RIP Tyler |

Some people are really good at hiding depression.....
I had a friend, while at CCC, who committed suicide. The day he did it we were joking and laughing, making plans for the weekend, chatting up girls, just another normal day.
The phone rings at 11:30 and Dean's mom is on the phone.....
I couldn't believe what she was telling me....
It took a long time for me to stop blaming myself.
My only hope is that Tyler's teammates don't blame themselves and if they do they get some help gaining perspective.
