And those of us who on occasion grouse about OSU not getting any respect should take note - we are #18 in AP, #21 in USA Today/WBCA in spite of our #73 RPI (playing AZ doesn't help your RPI, either).
We must be getting up voted on our emerging blue-blood reputation.
We have plenty of RPI building opportunities staring us right in face as well......

If we can get up to #16 we can maybe get a home court advantage for the first 2 games of the playoffs. Winning those, of course, means we would get the dubious honor of playing UCONN in the round of 16 = season over.

There are lots of good teams out there and we've hosted with a much better team than this one. This team has plenty of growing to do to stick in the top 20, let alone winning two tourney games. One day at a time. |

One day at a time. Correct...this team is not assured 2 W’s if they host. They also are not assured of losing a game in the first 2 rounds if they don’t host. Lots of games left to be played and it really is all about the matchup. |
