Does Destiny practice with the team? If so, does her presence deter development of point guard skills in others?
I realize this offense works well with good shooting guards, but without a point guard, it is tough for it to get set up.

No, her presence - especially defending - does not deter development of point guard skills in others. We could use a couple more Destinys in practice.

I am excited to see DS play games for Rueck and the Lady Beavs but I'm now becoming concerned that what we gain in DS being able to play we lose in Marie graduating. So, yes, we'll be vastly improved at the guard position but we won't have a dominant post player to get high percentage inside scoring from. I just don't see Grymck (sp?) really being anything more than someone who can spell our starter for periods throughout the game and some of the sentiment I'm hearing about Aquino is that she may not be dominant coming in either. She's super tall but I'm not convinced she will be an offensive weapon for at least a couple years. Are we getting all excited for next year when, in all reality, it's going to be at least two more years before we dominate again? Will Aquino ever be more than just a super tall post player that alters shots? I'm getting the feeling we need to keep recruiting some big-time, game-changing post players.
Go Beavs!

Sat near Aquino and Morris at USC game. She certainly looks all of 6’9”. Morris looks like she has a college ready build. Too bad we don’t have Marie for one more year- they both would gain so much from battling her in practice.
