Our guard play has been embarrassing this half. Think the ladies will see pressure the rest of the year? Embarrassing? BS. It has become VERY physical and USC is getting away with a lot that's not being called. We need to learn how to be more physical and respond to street fighting play but embarrassing? NOT. Ya better be able to play the game the way it's called. Refs are not at fault. More to's than shot attempts is embarrassing... sorry, by any standard. |

Plus, the aggressive team usually gets the benefit of the doubt. We need to toughen up. |

Very frustrating. All credit to USC for bringing the pressure. The game was there to be won just couldn’t close the deal.

Nope... refs had zero to do with this loss. Only "losers" think that way. The ladies were manhandled this weekend. They don't match up well with athletic/physical guard play. When the 3 pt is taken away we struggle. These games will make us better eventually. IMHO this team was never a Pac12 title team this year... 12-6 type team and gets to the tourney... but, reloads and will contend maybe a fav next year. |

These young women are anything but an embarrassment.
Our starting PG had not played the position since 7th grade. Our backup PG has all of 4 PAC 12 games experience.
It’s likely neither will be at that position next season, with Slocum and the Aussie coming in. But their experience this season under pressure from some of the best and quickest veteran PG’s in the West, will only make them better off-guards or small F next year.
In the meantime I’d sure like to see the WBB team focus more on beating pressure with several quick passes, rather than the dribble.

A 0-3 Pac12 team outscored osu by 20 in less than 1.5 qtrs. We had a qtr with more to's than shot attempts. Our guard play/ ball handling was embarrassing in the late 3rd/4th qtrs... getting picked several times in a row is flat out ridiculous for players at this level. But, it's far different from calling the players an embarrassment. That was not, nor will be a ranked team that made us look silly. Im a BEAVER not a homer. If that last 12 min was played by any opponent fans here would have a far different label for it. SR is a great coach, but this is not one of his typical top 20 teams. Were were handed our arses this weekend and pressure will continue to effect this team. Hate all you want... |

I’m two things: 1.) a fan, whose main purpose of following the Beavers is the enjoyment of watching dedicated young athletes, as they pursue college. 2) HONORED - to have finally drawn the ‘shade’ of BB111111111. Go Beavs!
