Really an eye opener, ucla game started and finished with ball handling.. they took the Beavs outbof any game plan they had in mind. Im looking forward to playing them up here.. great learning experience, glad it happened early in the season. Go Beavs

It will be very interesting to see if the Beavs respond to speed and pressure on Sunday in a "new and improved" way, or if they deliver a repeat of Friday night's rendition of basketball on snow shoes.
Personally, I'm curious. Very curious.
USC is not UCLA but they script similar game plans predicated on speed, defensive pressure, length/athleticism and attack the hoop. I wish I could have been at Galen today to watch practice, but I presume playing at a faster, more efficient, more aggressive pace is # 1 on Coach's get done right now list.
The Girls are probably rattled, if not they should be. I haven't watched USC enough this year to have a sense of their team integrity, but I have watched the Beavs enough to know they are disciplined, determined and well coached... My concern is their ability to handle opponents with top quality team speed. Tomorrow we'll get an answer.
As of now the Lady Beavs need a lot of improvement in that direction. A lot. USC by 10.
