Not unexpected... as mentioned previously, they have gotten away with hands on play on a regular basis. They live off turnovers/steals
This team has glaring weaknesses in athleticism and very perimeter oriented. Marie is a non factor when she's the only inside presence, threes don't fall/don't get many attempts, you turn it over and get only 22 attempts.
Scott can't simply work miracles all the time. This team played a very limited schedule that hid these weaknesses. Even Pac12 bottom dwellers types UW/WSU hung tough in Gill.
If a "bad" year is 11-7/12-6 and tourney appearances that's something! Those type of teams don't rebuild, they reload.
Here's to a better 2nd half and momentum for SC.
