ASU entered conference with it's pristine record and #3 RPI, suddenly is 0-2 in conference after losing at home to UA and, yes, Colorado. I had been scratching my head how that team could be that solid, and, well, it seems they do indeed have some serious flaws.
Meanwhile, UA is 2-0, having found it's typical footing and the likely class of the conference - with seemingly little competition for that status at this point. Nobody else in conference is without a loss 3 games in.
UCLA had a nice start by taking two in Washington relatively easily. Tonight, they found a way to lose to Stanford at home in double overtime, with Stanford's top two scores on the bench having fouled out. They seem to run an offense of standing around and watch Aaron Holliday try to score - good enough to fritter away a 13 point lead vs. Stanford.
Utah is 2-1 also, their loss at UA understandable. However, needing huge help from the refs to win in Corvallis, with OSU not playing one of their better games doesn't inspire confidence that they are a contender.
USC is also 2-1, but wins are over Cal at home and Wazzu on the road, and a loss at UW. Supposed to be one of the better teams in the conference going in, but losing to this year's UW team is suspect (UCLA blew UW out a few days before)
Colorado gets swept in OR, and manages to win at ASU - go figure.
WSU's few early season wins looks more flukey then their 27 pt loss to the Vandals at this point, and look like they'll settle in the cellar.
The rest of the teams are 1-1 and looking middling as well.
In essence, the conference looks more up for grabs than ever - at least 2nd place anyway.

Good rundown, thanks for that. Colorado was at home though.
I watched some of that game...ASU seemed to be having success early penetrating Colorado's zone, but either Colorado made an adjustment or ASU went away from it, because they ended up 9-34 on 3's (26%), well off their season average of 38%. Same thing happened to them vs. Arizona - they went 3-15 on 3's in the second half. Lost by 6. Live by the 3, die by the 3.

Colorado up 16 over Zona at the half.
Pac-12 halftime show, guys were asked who the best northwest team was right now. Lamar Hurd picked UW (trying to be impartial?) I tend to agree with him. The other guy (not sure who he is) picked the Beavs. Utah loss notwithstanding. Colorado blanking the Arizona schools at home on the heels of losing to us by 16 definitely doesn't hurt our cred.
