I agree with several of the posters on this Board that the Beavs need to be wary about settling for the three-pointer and should look to attack the paint and/or take uncontested mid-range jumpers, but it is a nice luxury to have a squad with a number of strong outside shooters.
Four Beavs are currently shooting 42% or better from beyond the arc.

Yes in an ideal world the team would have more dribble drive penetration, mid range jump shots and finishes at the basket.
However, as great as the team is in many aspects of the game, they currently do not have guards who are able to break down a defense by their quickness and ball handling.
Thus the 3 point shots and the concentration on getting the ball into the post (Marie G.) would seem to be what the Beavers will live and die with this year (perhaps Destiny Slocum will change that next year).
Go Beavers!

Well, guess the men's team can't blame it on the rims at Gill.
Way to go ladies. You are a pleasure to watch!

Go Beavers! Besides, Destiny, maybe Jasmine Simmons (who looks quick) might be able to dribble drive, penetrate and dish as well (although listed as a shooting guard she has combo guard skills). ESPN wrote this 1 year ago: "Agile combo-guard manufactures, delivers in mid-range game to the arc; rebounds, handles and attacks in transition game; distributes, executes in half-court; playmaker."
