Anyone think we have a chance with this guy. 4* Freshman DE at Miami who was granted release to 8 of the PAC-12 schools... OSU being one of them. Wants to be closer the home. Family member with health issues.

Picked uo, Keith Heyward was his recruiter and apparently was able to get him before he visited any schools. Interesting. And, of course since the ducks seem to get all the breaks with transfers, it appears he won't have to sit out a year because of the new NCAA family hardship rule. O-Live Link

Beyond ridiculous how certaikn schools get every advantage. I’m so tired of hearing about hole’s latest conquest on the recruiting trail in pretty much every sport. It’s such a mediocre school, but they have parlayed unlimited resources, marketing and institutional buy-in to athletics into a recruiting machine. I realize that only a small minority of high school athletes care about anything else that a school offers, but it’s getting old. It’s particularly hard to watch when we struggle so mightily to get one blue chip kid to say “yes”.

Has only played on special teams, 2 total tackles last year - high ego, low output... hope his family member gets better tho...
