It was the rumor last week, but somewhat confirmed now. The supposed head coach-in-waiting at WSU will be either a position coach or a co-DC. Interesting.
So does Baldwin now become the WSU coach-in-waiting even though he is at Cal? With Leach signing his extension, Baldwin might be waiting a long time.
The Grinch thing is also interesting from the standpoint that the Leach negotiations also included more money for assistants. Did Grinch and Leach have a dispute or did Grinch just figure the Ohio State position was a quicker shot at a head coaching spot at some othere school?
