Zach Wilson received a very recent Beaver offer, but it looks like BYU will be signing him, and 247 says 100% BYU. Twitter says 6:30 tonight for the announcement.

Not sure what “kicking the tires” means. Watching film? Gauging interest? Evaluating transfers first? All of the above?
Boise and Kansas offers.

Dreams of playing P5 football, nice, we got a shot.
Did I read that right? 57 TDs in one HS season? That's crazy.

He holds a "preferred walk-on" offer from Alabama too. His knock is he is short for a QB. 6-1". but hard to ignore his production, especially since he is late to the QB game. This looks EXACTLY like the type of pick up CJS is going to target. Guys on the rise, little under the radar, that are gonna come in and bust their tails off. Looks like Lindgren is meeting with him down there this week and he is coming in for a visit in February.

He may be short, but the announcers in the Minn/NO game were just talking about how Brees and now Keenum are two QBs who are showing that height is not necessarily needed to be a good QB.

Joe Montana was 6' 2" and 205 lbs during his prime and he seemed to do OK. MB.

Purdy had his OV with Boise State this last weekend. Hopefully he saves the first weekend in February (right before signing day) to visit OSU.
FWIW, I feel confident that CJS, of all coaches, won't have a height-bias against QB's he feels would succeed at the P12 level :-)

What!? No real interest....to Kansas and Boise State...to Alabama. ALABAMA!!!!
This is an example(and maybe this is for another thread) of what concerned me with the early signing period. The “Haves” can lock up their traditional 5* and 4* recruits. Ink them and not spend time and resources to keep their “verbal”.
Then they (the Haves) can keep a few slots open to go out and find the true gems of the class. Those kids that slip through the cracks and wind up on “lower” school teams. I think we will see less parity in College Football. Less of the “How did HE wind up on THAT team?”.
