Grade changing. Nice. Typical.

The grade changing is explained away pretty clearly, and doesn't involve the athletic department. Nothing the basketball teams did will result in anything. Title was a lot more exciting than the content of the article.

Not NCAA stuff, but couple this article with the last two sexual predator incidents/recruitments and the ADs handling of it all... plus past probation issues throughout the athletic department = lack and continued lack of institutional control with a win at any cost mentality. No idea how any uck fan with intelligence accepts thus from "their" school. Embarrassing...

Not exactly anything earthshaking in and of itself, but when combined with their recent history, unless various sources are willing to come forth with NCAA personnel funding augmentation, the foam rubber hammer will come down.

Self reported violations, level 2 before appeals likely bring them down, look what the NCAA did to UNC for far worse. It's nothing and that's fairly obvious. Say what you will about the other stuff that has gone on with the basketball team, but this is not cause for anything.

Say what you will about the other stuff that has gone on with the basketball team, but this is not cause for anything. The fake college within UNC was available to all students, enabling UNC to avoid major sanctions. As it appears the beakers are giving breaks to their athletes that would not be available to the rest of their derelict student body, the NCAA will most certainly be able to impose sanctions depending on how much they uncover.
