Looking at our current roster, and the defensive position groups, I can see a lot of guys getting moved to positions they're much better fits for.
Do you see the same thing?
I'm ready for a strong return to LBU West Coast. Can't wait to see some fast, hard hitting, nose for the ball LB's on the field again.

Bright U was as well but I wonder if he listened to the coaches too much because he was underwhelming this year in my opinion.

Need to move Sumner Houston back to the defensive line as the experiment at center was a disaster. Adds much needed depth to go along with Ayden and Vakameilalo. Flip Tristen Nichols from Hawaii and we look pretty good there.Hughes-Murrey,Hamilcar Rashed and Unutoa-Whitson have the size and speed to move to wde in a four man front. Ugwoeboe, Smith, Willis, Whetzell, Ah-Hoy and Tamoelau are going to be more than adequate line backers.

I'm not so sure Sumner at center was such a disaster after watching snaps go all over the place in the Civil War game. I'm thinking he wasn't hiking the ball at the time. I could be wrong. We're woefully thin at that position in either case. If we can find a replacement the D line could be a good spot to work him in.

Agree 100% on moving Sumner to DT....he spent way too much time on his heels at Center......on the D side he can let loose and get after it.

Agree 100% on moving Sumner to DT....he spent way too much time on his heels at Center......on the D side he can let loose and get after it. In his defense, it was his first year as a starter and first year playing the position. You almost always see the biggest leap in a player between year one as a starter and year two. I mean, I get that you don't want to keep jamming a square peg into a round hole, but you also can't keep hopping around with the scheme and personnel. GAG was bad about this musical chairs crap, guy was like a fart in a frying pan. Position changes should largely be done with caution, especially with as highly technical a position as Center. feel me?
