James Hodgins, a former NFL fullback, attended San Jose State University and was coached by current Oregon State offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin, so it should come as no surprise that the Spartans and Beavers were the first two programs to offer his son, a dynamic 6-foot-3, 190-pound pass-catcher out of Berean Christian High School (Walnut Creek, California).
Oregon State offered Hodgins on Monday, prompting immediate praise and interest from the budding star.
