I hate both of those teams, so a game ending in tragedy for either one makes me happy. As for the NFL catch rule - maybe I'm the only one in favor of it. In these days of 70%+ completion percentages, make the guy complete the process of the catch. I saw a replay of the 1977 NFL playoffs not long ago, and a bomb was "caught" by the WR diving for the ball. He probably held it in his hands for a second, then crashed into the ground and almost immediately lost the ball, and it was called a catch. That is the kind of crap the "process of the catch" rule is supposed to be stopping, and I honestly think the current interpretation is the best way to keep it consistent. Of course, back in 1977, there were still NFL QBs completing 50% or less of their passes, as that was the last year prior to the "modern" passing rules going into effect.

If Rapelessburger wasn't on the Steelers team I'd like them. Love AB, love Juju, love Coach Tomlin. Hate Big Ben Rapelessburger. So until he leaves Pittsburgh, they can DIAFF.

Not a steelers fan but they got screwed. And worse than it being a bad call it was apparently the correct call. The NFL is messed up. Lost in that greek tragedy of an ending was the incredible taunt job Gronk did on the steeler player failing to cover him on the two point conversion. Gronk is not classy but a very talented taunter.

Maybe screwed by the rule, but not the call. I hate the rule actually. Have to survive the ground. I also hate the rule about fumbling out of the end zone losing possession of the ball (Catchings? v Stanford). But since I hate the Raiders more I think it's funny today. Loss of down and ball on the 20 would be severe enough.
