It's pretty amazing what last year's team accomplished despite ranking last in the conference in turnovers. The improvement in that category this year has been encouraging and will help to offset - to a degree - the loss of Senior talent (Sydney, Gabriella, Breanna (rs JR), Kolbie) from the '17 team.

"It's pretty amazing what last year's team accomplished despite ranking last in the conference in turnovers." Gotta agree with that statement.
Last year's Win-Loss record was astounding when you consider the Beav's lack of team scoring, the high incidence of turnovers per game, and the very limited number of players who were a threat to score.
Last year's team was a stunning testament to the power of team defence and dominance on the boards...Personally, I cannot remember a team that won so many games with such a limited offence. Totally impressive. I know many coaches who view last season as a more impressive team performance, and more impressive coaching performance, for Coach R than even his great Final Four team.
In 2017 the Beavs went 1-0 against the best UW team in years, swept an Elite 8 team (Oregon), defeated a Final Four team twice (Stanford), defeated nationally ranked UCLA twice, defeated Nationally ranked Cal three times. That's impressive. Really impressive. Also - pretty amazing.
