Any ideas?
Beavs fell apart when the billicans pressed them. Every team will do this until the beavs find someone who can throw a downcourt pass to break the press with layups. It can be done but it does take practice and conviction that it will work.

Disagree the Beavers fell apart when pressed, will agree that there were problems that can be fixed with or without a true point guard. Over the top, pass the damn ball instead of dribbling, St Loius trapped effectively and continuing to bounce is death, simply create good angles and pass out of trouble.

Is it a foul to throw a ball really hard to the face of anyone who is guarding you too close? It works on a playground.

I took a PE basketball class at Umpqua Community College. The teacher was also the retired basketball coach. He said you could throw a pass directly at someones head, but shade the ball towards one ear or the other. The defenders first reaction is to get his head out of the way and then get his hands up. The idea is to get the ball by him by missing his head and before he gets his hands up.
