Problem is, there are people who say that assistant can’t recruit worth a darned.

Problem is, there are people who say that assistant can’t recruit worth a darned. What Andersen proved was that Riley was a great recruiter. Andersen's classes have amounted to garbage. Any player that was a star fizzled or DQ'd. Scant few people he brought in alone have been significant difference makers in any way. While we all sat here, frustrated year after year that we were only getting 2 and 3 star players and blaming Riley for not getting more touted players... he was consistently over performing year after year. Getting players that would make it here and make an impact. I look forward to OSU getting back to classes ranked in the 50's, but full of players that become first team all Pac-12 players in a couple years. Because what we saw the last couple years was the epitome of Andersen. All talk and no substance. an illusion. ultimately, a gigantic lie.

I’ve always thought Riley was an excellent recruiter by the way.

Riley was OC at USC with the dad, son goes to Nebraska with Riley as the head coach and now wants to transfer cuz Rileys gone. I think its reasonable to assume we might have a shot at getting him to transfer to OSU

You have the wrong Johnson. It's Keyshawn, not Chad. Chad's kid (Chad Johnson Jr.) was/is being offered in a future recruiting class (is what he was referring to). Ok. But this is a thread about Keyshawn. You should be able to understand his confusion.

Him, ocho's kid with Hodgins and Kolby Taylor could be fun If you have the two Johnson kids in the game at the same time it could be fun... "the Beavers line up in a double Johnson formation".

Ok. But this is a thread about Keyshawn. You should be able to understand his confusion. Who do you think the " Him" in ..." Him, ocho's kid with Hodgins and Kolby Taylor could be fun" is referring to? It could be understand that "Him" meant Keyshawn Johnson Jr. OR, Keyshawn AND another person. Poorly written English, which is not uncommon on this Board, could lead to misunderstandings.
