I think it's a big mistake for flipped. CJS and MR won't be around to teach him how to prepare for NFL. If he wants to play on Sundays, why Iowa? Now hope for a grad-transfer QB from Neb or UW. I think we have a great redshirt freshman in Aidan Willard good arm and very good wheels. Also hearing from a player on the team that Conor Blount has a better arm than Luton. I guess we all will have to just wait and see.

Crazy DIT on the joe beaver show just brought to light his conspiracy theory that the Petras flip is all Riley's fault. He claims that it is obvious the Ferentz told Petras that he beat Riley teams 3 times at Nebraska, therefore he should come to Iowa and not OSU....where Riley is.
I almost drove off the road laughing.
He also claimed that we just missed out on the best QB prospect in a decade. I guess he doesn't think much of Mannion either.

Geez Louise people. Get over it. It's not like he ran off with you waiting at the alter. Move on.

Sounds like Iowa City won him over. Hasn't he ever seen, "Field of Dreams?" "....people will come to Iowa City, see.....and they'll think it's really boring...." Yeah. Someone send him a link. 😉

DIT might want to read this. www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2016/02/the-true-meaning-of-coincidences/463164/I think the following quote from the article describes DIT fairly well .... "certain personality traits are linked to experiencing more coincidences—people who describe themselves as religious or spiritual, people who are self-referential (or likely to relate information from the external world back to themselves), and people who are high in meaning-seeking are all coincidence-prone. People are also likely to see coincidences when they are extremely sad, angry, or anxious."
