They really do seem to play to the opponents level. Where’s the intensity.

85-58 final.. 5 guys in double figures.. 20 assists..25-5 in POT's.. 48 points in paint.. 88% FT shooting.. and cleared the bench with 2 1/2 to play.. Kon'e got some action
Took a half but they did what you would expect vs UAPB

I want to say its the battery. One of these times (probably in the pac 12 season) its not going to start at all and a jump start wont help then.

For now I will take the slow starts versus the bad second half and stretch play that was plaguing them.

At least they are beating teams they should, albeit #300 and below. Lately there have been no 45+ 2nd halves given up and numerous 3+ min stretches without FGs.
As stated earlier... no freaking reason to have shortened the rotation earlier this year. This team didn't have a dominant core group. The only way they see 17 wins and any post season is depth... guys like Hollins getting PT and experience before Pac12 play.

Anyone know how they compute the attendance? It cannot be a turnstile count. They list 4344 on the website but it didn't look like even half of that at Gill tonight.

They list 4344 on the website but it didn't look like even half of that at Gill tonight. 4344 honestly seems petty accurate. Considering there were maybe 10 students in attendance tonight I'll take it for a game against Pine Bluff. 4344 isn't half even half full and the crowd seemed pretty comparable to most of the season disregarding students. The 2nd half was what I'd like to see from this team moving forward. 1st half, if we see that again I might need a paper bag to wear over my head for the rest of the season, but that being said I think this team is improving, and quotes from players recently seem to indicate they're working on finding what they're capable of. I still believe in this team and am looking forward to pac-12 play and hope we can see some wins this year. There's talent, they just need to play to that talent level more consistently.
