Ducks going to promote this guy like crazy. He may or may not be the real deal, time will tell. But one year ago, no one outside of Florida and Alabama had ever heard of Cristobal. Let's hope he continues his losing coaching percentage he established at Florida International, (27 - 47). We will all learn more in 8 days when they take on Boise State in the Vegas Bowl. Hard to say this, but Go Blue Donks!

In fairness we should recognize that his team won the 2010 Little Caesars Bowl.
He has coached in more bowl games than Taggart too. Two. With a third next week.

It's been well known for a few years that he's a good recruiter and a high energy guy. Him and his brother played for Erickson at Miami. Took a horrific program at FIU to a couple bowls. He'll likely salvage the west coast kids in the current recruiting class, but the LB and RB coaches are probably following Willie to FSU and could pull some eastern/south recruits with them.
The biggest hit to uo would be if Leavitt leaves, but expect them to throw a bunch of money at him to stay. If OSU offers KH a DC position, I would think he would come as opposed to being a position coach at uo. Net result is that OSU got an upgrade in coaching staff and uo looks to have taken a step backwards.

I like our hire of JS more than what Oregon came up with.

Doesn’t it seem like all they did was hire a white Willie Taggart?
Less than impressive record as head coach? Check Great recruiter? Check From Florida? Check
