How do I post html-coded posts - like my weekly "NFL Beaver" posts?
I tried putting in in this space like a non-coded post - didn't work.
I tried clicking on the "Insert Code" button and pasted my coded post in there - didn't work.
I tried clicking on the "BBCode" tab near the bottom and pasting my coded post there - didn't work.

For me it was an attempt to use HTML to make the size of my signature larger. It is so tiny! Having HTML options missing on a forum of this type is like a hamburger missing lettuce, tomato and such.

What are you trying to post? I believe this form filters out a lot of code types to try to prevent inserting malicious code. For video, there's an insert video, but only certain sites are supported. I believe most of your posts include video from NFL.com, which unfortunately doesn't appear to be supported here unless it's a direct link to the source:
Supported Video Sites CollegeHumor Dailymotion Metacafe MySpace videos Twitch.tv UStream Veoh Vimeo YouTube Imgur GIFV And any direct link to .wmv / .avi / .mpg / .mov / .mp4 / .ogv / .webm

This is the code that I have been using weekly over on P.O. for my "NFL Beaver" updates - interestingly the main difference between what I have been doing on P.O. for years and this new site is that html commands here are encased in [these] on the BBCode tab, whereas I have been using <these>. No idea what the difference is.

Sorry 86, not sure on the html stuff. I do see that there are a ton of formatting options built in without have to use any coding. Not sure if this helps or not but it your posts look good from what I've seen.

From what I've been able to find, 86BEAVER,html formatting is not supported. The board administrators can enable it with a script that they put on each board but I doubt that will happen. So, what you can do to get different sizes of font, bolding, underline, etc is to use the built-in formatting support in the post editor. These use "BBCode" and you can see the BBCode version of the post by clicking on the "BBCCode" tab at the bottom of the post you are editing (next to the "Preview" tab). Here's a page showing what BBCode formatting commands you could use to replace the html ones you normally use: www.proboards.com/forum-help-guide/bbcodeMike '84

Nevermind, 86BEAVER, I see from your NFL posts and from re-reading your post above that you had already figured out how to change your html formatting to BBCode formatting. You can even include the NFL and OSU logos simply by changing the <> to [] in the line where you embedded the images (but you probably already knew that):
