It looks like 3 of the top 5 "rated" in state players are uncommitted. The other two have verbally committed to UW.
Top 5: ATH Hufanga, uncommitted WR Chase Cota, uncommitted ATH Braden Lenzy, uncomitted APB Trey Lowe, UW SDE Draco Bynum, UW
In state Beav commits: QB Jake Dukart, Lake O, top rated in state QB TE Keishon Dawkins, 6'4 240, W. Linn, top rated TE in state DE Bradley Bickler, 6'7 240, Southridge, top WDE in state
sdtr has 3 in state commits. Surprisingly, we're already in great shape, however if we could flip one of the UW or sdtr commits and land one of the uncommitted players that would be a big victory IMO.

If Coach Smith could flip any of these in that short of time.....wow!! That would be huge. What we already do know is Coach Smith was very very impressive chattin with Hufango as stated on the Joe Beav show. If any of these would flip it would just show how Lucky we are 2 have this new leader. Regardless.... we are finally moving the right way!

I don't think we stand much of a chance with the 3 uncommitted kids.
Lenzy already met with Notre Dame last night, he was strong lean to ND before flipping to ducks to begin with IIRC. Cota - not a chance, Talanoa - .000001%, Dumb and Dumber, so you're saying there's a chance type odds...
As far as flips - I'd say Quitoriano would be a possibility, was between us and them to begin with - but we don't really need a TE with Smalls on board - and Smalls might be doing more for our class than anyone else at the moment, including coaches! Winston has a brother already there, so I don't see that happening.
That leaves Jaramillo from LO and MJ Cunningham out of Madison - we've offered both, don't think Jaramillo ever gave us any consideration and sounds like he's still solid to ducks, I believe Cunningham indicated that he may start looking around.
Maybe we need to let Smalls know to get to working on those 2 on social media.

I stand corrected on Jaramillo, he's just indicated he's looking around: The 6-foot-5, 297-pound Jaramillo remains committed to the Ducks, but will visit other schools and wait until February to sign a letter of intent rather than signing with the Ducks during the early signing period on Dec. 20-22. It’s probably too late for Jaramillo to line up an official visit this weekend, so the weekend of Dec. 15-17 is probably his only chance to see another program before the first signing date. registerguard.com/rg/sports/football/36222542-69/story.csp
