First post on this board. Just finished watching A-PB rip Kal to pieces, up by 35 points at various times and settle for a 96-69 thrashing of the Golden Bears in Berkeley.
Hard to tell if Kal is just untalented, uninspired, or both. They have the new coach who took over for the flashy coach who left for Missou. Kal is picked to finish 11th in the PAC, and they are young and lost a lot of talent to the League this past year.
Will be interesting to see how we fare - A-PB looked quicker and more decisive, shot the three ball well and attacked the paint and either finished or kicked out to wide open three ball shooters.
EDIT: Whups! My Bad, got the directional Arkansas schools mixed up. Yeah, we get to face the 0-9 version of Arkansas-PB, not the Central version that played Kal.
Kal looked terrible, no matter which Arkansas school they played.

Central Arkansas (Scottie Pippen’s alma mater) also took UCLA to overtime losing 106-101. Yet they lost to Baylor by 41. Cal also lost to Chaminade who isn’t even D-1. And they lost 96-72 no less. In addition they lost to UC Riverside. Speaking of upsets, Loyola of Chicago knocked off #5 Florida tonight.
