Don't know if any others are like me in this regard, but here goes.
I don't do PayPal. I don't do credit card transactions on the Internet.
I DO send money by check thru the Postal System....
If you post a name & a mailing address I will send a contribution.

If I truly MUST do business requiring credit card payments on internet, I have my wife or my secretary handle it for me.

I do not do business with Amazon. If I truly MUST do business requiring credit card payments on internet, I have my wife or my secretary handle it for me. You could always also purchase a prepaid Visa/Mastercard/American Express gift card for such transactions. He has people. 411500 asks his wife to purchase his gee gaws on Amazon with his CC. See the difference? I also try not to use Amazon. I think I have 1 transaction this year. And i boycott Walmart also. Mrs scrapr made me buy some mouth spray last week. My only time in there this year. Oooohh, sorry. I was with my little brother while he purchased some ammo. I directed him to Sportsmen Warehouse the next time 411500 have you thought about a little bitcoin? Safe & Secure |

The moderators can do EVERYONE a big favor by getting rid of baseball. I won't stoop to his level, but .... if you can offload him, I will also chip in with some money. If not, I will just continue to 'monitor' the smart, informed, people that can have a discussion on a real topic. People can be right or wrong... no problem.
if baseball continues, I suggest you fine him every time he attacks a poster. Guy is pretty focused on loving up Riley - has to be an agenda there. I posted here because that is where the thread started.
Let me know how you decide on baseball and I will 'Pay Pal', CC or whatever works best/ easiest for you. You guys do a great job and it is a thankless task- so the people that are serious about the Beavers and Beaver discussions and information, should kick in.

Great first post... uninformed, biased/ one sided, and extortion all in one. Is that one "t" or two? My agenda is OSU. And, MR doesn't need promoting, just far less disparaging and actual support if and when JS includes him on the staff... as an advisor or coach. But, you're right I do enjoy "counter burns" and trying to include somewhat clever quips. And, Matt, most EVERYONE on here posts some info, a lot of opinion, and "barbs" of varying severity. Do you often try to buy your own way? Just a honest question. Cuz if you read your own post as of it was from another, well, you might think it was some arrogant dude who thinks his $ solve his problems. But... you do make a great point when you say this site does a great job. If the complement wasn't mixed with the extortion it would seem a bit more sincere. Just a bit of advice. |

He may not be a real charmer but you are seriously not coming across as a super charming guy either. I’m guessing they will probably get some donations without strings attached. Not trying to be a charmer. Willing to donate and help clean up the discussion and purpose of this board by calling out the one poster that feels he is the sole voice for anything related to Beaver sports and who routinely, and in an angry and nasty way, calls out ANYONE with ANY comments that don't mesh with his/ her worldview. Do you want more post's, Do you want to allow free flowing, constructive discussion ?, Or, do you want one person driving everyone else away ? The best way to manage this is make it a significant PAY service. I am betting that will enhance, by a great deal, the quality of the board and your financial situation. But, first you have to get serious about your mission, and quite frankly, you have one person creating a bad experience, and who has been 'lectured' to ( in a constructive way ), by many other posters. If you don't accept that premise, no problem... I have other ways to satisfy my Beaver news updates. |

My next fund raising idea is a matt v baseba1111 cage match. Fight to the death. Winner gets 50%, I get 50%. Neutral site...probably could sell out Staples Center. And the PPV haul would be huge. Seriously, here's my suggestion for Benny's House improvement... Come to the table with thoughtful, passionate topics and opinions. This alone will elevate the discussion. If someone is violating rules, let me know. |
