www.thesundevils.com/news/2017/12/3/football-vision-unveiled-edwards-takes-helm.aspx1. Still think it's a weird hire. 2. Going to an NFL approach in terms of organizational structure... 3. The press release. LOL. So many words. Lots of words. I'm sure if I took the time to read through the entire release and played Marketing Buzzword Bingo - I'd get collaboration, ideation, synergies, optimization, vision and value proposition. The department's New Leadership Model will be similar to an NFL approach using a general manager structure. It's a collaborative approach to managing the ASU football program that includes sport and administrative divisions, which will operate as distinct, but collective units focused on elevating all aspects of Sun Devil Football. This structure will allow the department to form a multi-layered method to the talent evaluation and recruiting processes, increase its emphasis on both student-athlete and coach development and retention, and provide a boost in resource allocation and generation.

If I had the time and energy, I'd post a Wah-Wah-WAHHHHHHHHHHHH trumpet bleat. pretty uninspiring hire. this is a bungle of a situation at ASU.

I love ASU. Is this an upgrade over the cranky, yet capable Graham? I don't get it. I don't see it. I'm not impressed.

One thing Herm Edwards knows: "You play to win the game".
No, I am not going to link to the video.
Isn't Edwards other claim to fame the "Miracle in the Meadowlands"?

This is weird. What an odd hire. I sense disaster but maybe they know something we don't.

Herm was just screwing with the media. ASU recruited Herm to play there. I do believe he knows the Mascot really. Not quite like Coach A asking to get our ducks in a row. I think Herm will do a good job for the Devils that's just my opinion. GO BEAVS
