Pretty remarkable, 3 teams from a 325 mile radius. That would be like Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington, then like Kansas State thrown in for the mix.

Even Oklahoma is a confederate state. Confederate national championship tournament this year.
Maybe we should hold a separate union tournament too? Ohio State, Wisconsin, USC, and Washington? Use the Fiesta and Cotton Bowls?
The good news is I do think the PAC will get two New Years Six Bowls.

I know but the confederates are sending 2 of their teams to union soil for the Rose Bowl so we can send 2 of ours to their soil.

One team west of the crooked letter river, and NO teams north of the Mason Dixon.

As I said far earlier... didn't matter if Bama lost or plays in conference title game... they were in some way.
This system is the worst of any... the committee is a farce and a made for TV money grab.
But, either way I was unhappy cuz with Wisky losing it was Saban or Meyer in! Eff em both.

It's Clemson, OK Sooners, GA Bulldogs and Bama (4th team). Too bad Wisconsin didn’t get it done. It would have been refreshing to have a playoff without the Tide for a change. Anyone griping about the Huskies being in it last year with their relatively weak SOS, has better do the same about Alabama this year. They beat nobody of note. It’s not that they aren’t one of the most talented teams, but their defense isn’t as imposing this year and their offense (when playing real teams) is meh-squared. Sure wish we had an 8 team playoff. Having 4 spots for 5 conference champions is ridiculous, especially when you take two from the same conference in the playoff. Rumor has it that the committee tried to figure out how to get 5 SEC teams into the playoff. That conference is beyond overrated - 3 or 4 nice teams and 10 dogs.

Jan. 1st Games: 5 SEC teams 1 ACC 1 B12 1 B10 1 Independent 1 AAC 0 P12 There are two Pac-12 teams in NY6 Bowls, however (which is all that really matters).
$C: Cotton Bowl (vs. Ohio State)
fuskies: Fiesta Bowl (vs. Penn State)
To a traditionalist, not having a P12 team to watch on New Years sucks. Not having the P12 champ in the Rose Bowl vs the Big Champ sucks. When our conference gave away control of the Rose Bowl, we lost our biggest political and financial bargaining chip at the table. Haven't won a title since, and watched our flagship team(whether you like them or not that's what they are) get buried by an entirely politically motivated attack by the NCAA while programs where actual real and provable wrongdoing took place were given a proverbial slap on the wrist in the process. Penn State, N. Carolina, Miami, Ok State, FSU, Auburn and I'm probably missing others.
