A good game with no playoff ramifications whatsoever. About as relevant as the Pac-12 Networks...LOL! Kind of a shame really. It was not our year nor the conference's. Parity ruled the roost as I expected at the start of the season. Other than us and Colorado, the teams beat up on each other.
Now pick 2018's Pac-12 champion. Yeah, right!

And plus the Levi stadium is barely packed for a Friday night college football championship game lol, the PAC 12 sure loves making ridiculous schedules pissing off the entire PAC 12 fan base

Turnover USC, Stanford has the ball and then Stanford makes a super risky pass play that ends up in a loss of 27 yards..... Gj Stanford, Super smart play! 🙄

I really gotta say, stanford really shoulda benched Bryce Love for the rest of the season with the ankle injury he suffered against the yucks.

Why do people think Shaw is such a great coach? Gets good players and rides them, but does not seem like a very good game coach.

This game woulda been tied 31-31 if Stanford didn't go for it on 4th and goal.

Yep, USC gets the ball back and burns out the clock, the south division gets their first PAC 12 championship trophy since the PAC 10 became the PAC 12

Oregon State has fallen to fifth in Pac-12 championships. Of course, Oregon State is ninth in division championships in the Pac-12. Only Oregon, Stanford, and Washington have won the North. Every team but Utah has won the South.

It's not any prettier for Rose Bowl appearances since the BCS era began. Utah, Colorado, Arizona, ASU, Cal and OSU are a combined 0-fer. That's half the current conference! Out of the remaining six, just four have won a Rose Bowl game: UW, UO, Stanford and USC. Out of those four only one has multiple Rose Bowl wins and of course it's USC.
Can we have a repeat of the 2000 season when the power was in the Northwest again puhleeze?

Pretty good game. Wish officiating wouldn't have been so involved.
Castello is a far better QB than Chryst from what I've seen. Love's a great player, but Darnold is clearly the best player in the Pac 12 IMO.
Has a pocket awareness few QB's have, a little Kellen Moore like. He can move and pick up first downs with his feet, extends plays, and makes some great choices and throws. Add to that his size and he's the whole package. Has lived up to all the hype and delivered in crunch time, especially in the Texas game.

With a USC and Oklahoma win the PAC should be in line for 2 New Years Six Bowl bids now.
USC likely goes to the Fiesta Bowl and guessing Washington will get the Cotton Bowl.
Assuming Wisconsin wins tonight this is how I see it playing out:
Orange will take loser of ACC title game and either Alabama or loser of SEC title game. Peach gets UCF vs. the either Alabama or loser of SEC title game Cotton gets UW vs. Penn State Fiesta gets USC vs. Ohio State (although I could see the committee decide to put Penn State here and have a re-match of last years great Rose Bowl)
Note: The Orange Bowl is the only bowl that gets to pick the teams it wants (ACC for sure with SEC/Big Ten being their 2nd pick but took Big Ten last year so think they take SEC this year); the other 3 Bowls are paired up by the committee.

UW, OSU and UO in a 3-way tie. UW got the Rose Bowl on a tiebreaker and beat Drew Brees's Purdue team to wind up #3. OSU mopped the floor with the Dames in the Fiesta and got the #4 spot. Oregon edged Texas at the Holiday Bowl to garner the #10 spot. 2001 did not finish as good as that for the then-Pac-10.
