I still think Frost goes to Nebraska. Jimbo to TAMU, Slick Willie to FSU, Leach to Tennessee, Wilcox to uo, Baldwin to Cal, Grinch to WSU. Suddenly the task confronting Smith as a first-year coach in the Pac-12 gets a little easier, with new coaches at UCLA, ASU, WSU, uo, and Cal, and Andersen screwing up the works at Utah. Leach to Tennessee definitely isn't happening. Doesn't appear so, but I'm okay if Coach Niner (and TBD staff) want to remind some of their recruits that Leach had 1 foot out the door as of last night.

Well that's a bummer. But it shows he's not totally sold on WSU anymore either. We know he'll leave, now it's just a matter of when.

I get that WSU has loans coming due or whatever, but did they not watch the Beavers in the late 2000's NOT invest in football during high times and are now paying for it dearly? Cut other programs, but if they go cheap with football they will see their team exactly where we are now in a few years...

It's a done deal now...
Fisher leaving A&M for FSU"Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher has resigned and will be named the new coach at Texas A&M, sources told ESPN's Mark Schlabach. He won't coach in Saturday's game against Louisiana-Monroe, sources told ESPN. Florida State officials plan to announce his resignation Friday afternoon."

It's much better to watch the rumors and drama from the sidelines now that we have a coach hired!

God I want Taggart to leave... for no other reason that a massive FU to Oregon and of course an hand grenade tossed into that massive recruiting class he has going on. If he goes to FSU, half that class, at least, follows him. Then we pluck up Heyward and he brings along a few gems... awwww yisssss...

If Taggart does migrate south to FSU, I expect half the $chmUck$ recruit class with fly away with him. Breaks my heart.

Understood, but they've also been pretty dang accurate on Tennessee events and Jimbo situation and many other hires.. so there's that. Still would take their word over Canzano every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

They built half a stadium, new locker rooms..... During the dark ages they managed to build the Valley Football Center If all it took was money then every school would throw $$$ at their programs.

I'm still amazed that a coach who takes a team that is ranked by most services as one of the top 2-3 teams in the nation to a record of 5 and 6 gets offered one of the richest contracts in NCAA history.
I would like to have his agent work for me.

I think we can all agree.... taggart leaving the slug eaters is the best part about Jimbo leaving.

Beau very well could have a decent job by the time this coach hunting season ends.
